Kanban is a set of values, practices and principles that bring the benefits of Lean theory to organisations.

Team Kanban Practitioner (TKP) is a hands-on program especially designed to help participants understand the basics of the Kanban method and how to implement Kanban at a team level. It serves as an entry level course for the participants who are enthusiastic to gain knowledge in Kanban. A program that helps you be a good “Kanban Citizen”. At the end of the 1 day program, participants will be able to design a Team Kanban Board and walk away with a fair understanding of the Kanban method.
Syllabus and Agenda
The course follows the official KU Certified Kanban syllabus.
● Introduction to Kanban
● Basics, Principles and Practices of the Kanban Method
● Understand Kanban Daily Stand up meeting
● Kanban Board Design including Personal Kanban
● Work in Progress (WIP) Limits.
Prerequisites
No previous knowledge of Kanban is required. Anyone who is involved in Knowledge/IT work may participate and gain from the sessions.
Audience
Kanban is for everyone ! Kanban works across the organisation, from executives to senior members of staff looking to adopt Lean Management to members of delivery teams willing to improve their working practices.
Program Delivery
Due to COVID-19, TKP is offered virtually. It offers the same collaborative experience as the classroom program ! The one day program will be split across 2 days with 4 hours per day. The program is fully hands-on with plenty of exercises and insights.
Certification
Participants will receive a certificate of completion for TKP program from Kanban University (KU) as well as lifetime membership of Kanban University that allows you to get listed in the Kanban University Alumni directory. The program also allows you to claim upto 8 SEU’s from Scrum Alliance and 8 PDUs from PMI.
